There is no single correct way to spell your name in English

Arabic has no official romanisation, and the same name is legitimately written several ways: Mohammed, Muhammad, Mohamad, Mohamed. Which one appears on your documents usually depends on which country issued them and which colonial-era transliteration convention that country inherited — a Moroccan passport and an Egyptian birth certificate may render the identical name differently, through no error by either.

US reviewers comparing two documents see two different names. This is the single most common cause of avoidable delay on Arabic-language filings. Send us the spelling exactly as it appears on your passport; we keep it consistent across every document in your set and handle genuine variants so the relationship between spellings is visible rather than looking like a discrepancy.

Hijri dates need converting, and the conversion must be shown

Many documents from the Arab world carry Hijri (Islamic lunar calendar) dates, some carry Gregorian, and some carry both. The Hijri year is roughly eleven days shorter, so the two calendars drift against each other and a date cannot be converted by simple arithmetic on the year.

A translation that silently substitutes a Gregorian date gives a reviewer no way to check the conversion. We render the date as it appears and supply the Gregorian equivalent alongside it, so the original and the conversion are both visible on the page.

Right-to-left layout

Arabic documents run right to left, and official forms often place seals, stamps and registry numbers in positions that have no equivalent in an English layout. We reproduce the structure so a reviewer can set the translation against the original and follow which field corresponds to which — rather than receiving a reflowed document they cannot map back.
