Legal Document Translation in New Jersey

New Jersey's court rules let a person certify facts instead of swearing an affidavit. Under Rule 1:4-4(b), a signed certification that the statements made are true, with an acknowledgment that willfully false statements are punishable, takes the place of an oath - and a translator's certification in that form is a common way to put a translation before a New Jersey court.

Where a court or an opposing party insists on a notarized affidavit instead, we notarize at our Edgewater office. Either way the translation is complete - every page, stamp and handwritten note - because a partial translation of an exhibit invites an objection.
